Beth Cole currently serves as Program Manager, Executive Coordinator/Assistant and Event Planner for the American Institute for Managing Diversity, Inc. (AIMD), a national nonprofit diversity think tank based in Atlanta, Georgia. AIMD conducts research, education and public outreach programs on the issue of diversity. While not limited to, Ms. Cole’s primary areas of focus are: the Diversity Leadership Academy® (DLA), a five-month community-based senior leadership development program that provides strategic diversity management leadership skills to business, civic, and community leaders; AIMD’s Speaking of Diversity Series; and the Diversity Management Series for Law Firm Leaders. AIMD conducts the Diversity Leadership Academy’s and its other programs across the United States. As Program Manager, Executive Assistant/Coordinator, and Event Planner she is responsible for the administration of all programs, which includes the management of: curriculum; schedule coordination; communications; materials and supplies; facilities and logistics; catering; event planning; travel; facilitators; vendors; solicitation of applications, nominations and enrollment; database management; and brochure design. She also monitors relevant events and notable leaders to explore program opportunities, and she represents AIMD and the DLA at various functions across the country.
