I am a versatile Engineer with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. I have over 16 years of experience in the Civil Engineering field, including Land Development, Transportation, Public Works, Structural, Geotechnical (plan site), concrete formwork, etc.
Had not been in the market for several years. Now with the current financial crisis the country is facing, it seems harder than before to get a job even though I believe I am very marketable. Any advise is always welcome.
hardest or worst job you ever worked?
I had a job in which my supervisor openly declared war to anyone who was not of his same racial/ethnic background. This made it very hard to perform peacefully.
your worst boss - what were his/her tricks?
I am sorry, due to ethics I will not disclose the name. Tricks used, those that were not of the same origin were made to work harder and extra hours without pay. Would make fun of our heritage.
best career advice you ever recieved?
Keep positive. Don't compete with anyone but yourself. Always be honest, that way you will never regret your deeds. Ensure you keep inner peace.
worst career advice you received?
Leave the county.
what are you looking for in your next job?
Challenge, responsibility, teamwork, being resourceful to my employer, peace.
